gloomy colors that fills the field of painting. Over time, Batuan Art thematic

process. There are many levels of complexity at the time of painting, for
wearing traditional painting techniques, such as ngorten

paintings that is easily absorbed in the market. Hence, we think that

The
revival of the art of Batuan painting with the formation Of Baturulangun

According to bruce, so far there has been no book who dissects the art of
Batuan painting in terms of the structure of art. Of which books on the history
of Batuan art nuanced anthropological. This book is very important if you want
to explore the batuan art related to the structure of it’s art.
Sujendra

sake of religion, for offerings or decoration in temples. However, as the
development of tourism in Bali, Batuan painting turn to pragmatic function.
However, from the past until now, most artists do not rely on Batuan art as a
source of their income. On average they have a side profession, such as farmer,
builder, teacher, guide, realtor, open stalls, and so on. Painting them is a
hobby, profession, social existence.
“If we
only rely on the sale of paintings, of course we are economically deprived.
Because, quite difficult to sell the painting kind of traditional, except sold
at fire sale prices. However, there are also one or two painters whose lives
were successful from selling the painting style of Batuan, “said Sujendra.

Bruce, when referring to the history of world art, Batuan painting more modern
than cubism. Although, technically, Batuan art still using traditional
techniques. However, thematically has evolved into a modern direction with
typical characteristic of each individual artist.
“In
perspective, Batuan paintings more dynamic than the perspective of Western
painting. Batuan painting no focus. For all objects appearing simultaneously.
